Halls.io ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal information you provide through this website. You can contact us at hello@hallsio.co.uk.

When you submit an enquiry we collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number — to respond to your enquiry
• Your preferred contact method — so we reach you the way you want
• University, year of study, move-in date and budget — to match you with suitable rooms
• Any notes you choose to add
• The page you enquired from and basic UTM tracking data — to understand how you found us

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you reached out to us about accommodation, and we process your data solely to respond to that enquiry.

We keep enquiry records for up to 2 years from the date of submission, after which they are deleted. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so within 30 days.

We may share your enquiry details with the accommodation provider(s) relevant to your enquiry, so they can follow up with you directly. We do not sell your data or share it for unrelated marketing purposes.

Your data is stored securely with our database provider, who process it on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data
• Object to or restrict how we process your data
• Receive your data in a portable format
